ABOUT ME

Driven by a deep passion for women's health, particularly during the precious journey of pregnancy, I embarked on a path of continuous learning and excellence. My MBBS journey at Government Chengalpattu Medical College, Tamil Nadu, culminated in top honors – a gold medal in Obstetrics and Gynecology.


Fueled by this academic achievement, I pursued my MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the esteemed PGIMER Chandigarh, graduating at the top of my class. But my quest for knowledge didn't stop there.


To further refine my skills, I pursued an FMF-UK accredited Fellowship in Fetal Medicine at the renowned Apollo Center for Fetal Medicine (ACFM) in New Delhi. This was followed by an "Advanced Course in Fetal Medicine" at the prestigious Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) in London, UK.


Today, I specialize in a range of cutting-edge fetal medicine techniques, including First Trimester Screening, Preeclampsia Screening, Aneuploidy Screening, Cervical Screening, Anomaly Scans, Fetal Dopplers, Fetal Echocardiography, and various Fetal Interventions like CVS, Amniocentesis, Intra-uterine Transfusions, Fetal Shunting Procedures, and even Fetal Endoscopic Procedures.


My commitment to continuous learning extends beyond academic qualifications. I hold specialist certifications in Advanced Fetal Neuro-sonography (under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Karina Hartz from Israel) and Advanced Fetal Echocardiography (under ISUOG), demonstrating my dedication to mastering the intricate aspects of this field.


My clinical expertise lies in areas like Aneuploidy Screening, Preeclampsia, Fetal Growth Restriction, Multiple Pregnancies, Genetics, and Fetal Interventions. Helping women navigate these complexities with informed decisions and compassionate care is my ultimate goal.

During my academic journey, I delved deep into the study of fetal medicine, honing my skills and knowledge. As I progressed, my commitment to this field strengthened, and I eventually specialized in antenatal ultrasound techniques to offer the best possible care to expectant parents.


In my practice, I believe in empowering parents and fostering a sense of discovery during their pregnancy journey. Just as you expressed a preference for being a facilitator in psychotherapy, I adopt a similar approach in my interactions with patients.
